Carers Support worker for learning disabilities is Susie Rowan and she is based at the Richmond Carers Centre. Her role is to support carers at a strategic level and represent Carers views at the Local Learning Disability Partnership Board and the Joint Commissioning Group, as well as at other meetings such as the Carers Strategy Reference Group. The Carers Support worker can update Carers about information, changes and developments in learning disability services within the borough. Susie is also a trained Broker and has some capacity to support families to develop their support plan and also provide individual support where necessary.
